The Rolex Cellini ref. 4088 is a distinctive vintage model with a 31mm white-gold case and a matching precious-metal bracelet. Examples are known with blue or silver dials, including diamond-set hour markers.

The combination of manual winding, white gold and an integrated bracelet gives the 4088 a more jewellery-oriented appearance than the leather-strapped Cellinis that would follow.

It is an Icon because the 4088 shows just how experimental Rolex could be with the Cellini collection during its formative years.
