The Rolex Cellini Cellinium ref. 5241 is one of the most unusual modern-era Cellinis. Introduced around the beginning of the new millennium, it was created exclusively in platinum and marked a major increase in size for the collection. The 38mm case gives it a more substantial presence than many earlier Cellinis.

Inside is a manually wound movement, while the design remains deliberately traditional: precious metal, leather strap, clean dial and small seconds. Some examples feature the distinctive glacier-blue dial that has become particularly associated with the reference.

It is an Icon because the 5241 is Rolex's purest expression of the Cellini philosophy in platinum.
